ok so I was inspired by a fellow coldplay fan of mine to write about how I heard about coldplay. In 8th grade I was in Ms. Morans class and she was playing Weird Al's Polkarama song and I thought it was hillarious so I looked it up on google. I decided that I would would look up the music he was singing and the first song I came along was Float On by Modest Mouse. After I found that song I looked up the song that played after that and up came speed of sound by coldplay..it was beautiful. I still remember how crisp and clean it sounded to me..I was hooked. after listening to speed of sound I decided to look up their other songs..i LOVED all of them. the first songs I bought were yellow, talk, clocks, the scientist, speed of sound, fix you, and trouble. To this day they are still my favorite songs! and then around February of 08 I was in my room getting ready for school and violet hill came on and the dj started talking about how their new album was coming out! I was soo excited! And so this is how i met my favorite band of the last two years and I cant wait to see what they come up with next!!
